1. Agreement
By signing in to Layovers (layoversapp.com) you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What the service is
Layovers shows small, invite-only groups of friends ("hubs") when everyone in the group is free, based on read-only access to each member's Google Calendar. Layovers is currently offered as a free beta.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old and have a valid Google account.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Joining a hub means the other members of that hub can see your name, photo, and free/busy status. Only join hubs with people you actually want to share that with.
4. Calendar access
Layovers requests read-only calendar access and cannot modify your calendar. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops the service from working for your account until you reconnect.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't use Layovers to harass, stalk, or monitor anyone.
- Don't share invite links with people the hub's members wouldn't welcome.
- Don't attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer its privacy protections.
- Don't use the service in violation of any applicable law.
6. Beta service, no warranty
Layovers is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Availability data depends on Google's APIs and on what people put on their calendars; it may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Don't rely on it for anything important.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layovers and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.
8. Termination
You can stop using Layovers at any time (see the Privacy Policy for account deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may modify or discontinue the beta at any time.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use Layovers after a change means you accept the new terms.
